Blank magazine almost empty.

The option sensor is located at the front underneath the lower separator plate. When the sensor does not see the blanks in the magazine, it will generate the blue stack light to blink. This warning triggers the operator to refill the magazine.

The sensor is adjustable in sensitivity. Make sure it does not see further than half the length of the blank magazine.

Help Text:

  • Load blank magazine and press [I]

Problem

  • The magazine is empty

  • The upper retainer is set too high/low

    • When the magazine is adjusted too high/low, it may cause incorrect folding of the outer flaps. The outer flap locks itself in the outer flap folders because the blank is held in the incorrect position by the suction frame. When the case is pushed into the side belts it cannot correct itself anymore and ends up too far between the side belts. This results in bad taping and or cutting.

Solution

  • Load the magazine with boxes

  • Adjust the retainers to the proper settings outlined in your machine manual

    • In Europe: You can find your machine manual access code inside pocket of electrical cabinet (also retrofit information)

    • In Americas: You can find your machine manual access code on a QR on the machine
