Tape Head

The knife is protected by a red cover. Within this cover is a sponge. This sponge must be lubricated frequently. At least every change roll of tape.

Signs of a Problem

• Tape will not feed

• Tape is not threaded properly (must be sticky side up)

• Rollers looking wobbly, damaged, or not rolling freely

A Few Solutions

1. Replace the rubber rollers

2. Replace foam cushion and lubricate

3. Replace the brush

4. Replace the blade

For safety, begin by locking out and tagging out:

1. The electrical main disconnect switch

2. The pneumatic dump valve
